Regarding Unbundling Global (Split Claim)

For OB patient we bill Global package. For Exp 59400 - Routine obstetric care including antepartum, vaginal delivery & postpartum.

At first we bill only 59426 antepartum due to delivered by other provider.
Later we find out "the contract of coverage for delivery" , I review the OB Global:

1. Should I have to void antepartum 59426 (which was billed & payment received), then rebill the Global 59400 ?

2. Due to 59426 antepartum was billed & got payment, continue bill for 59410 Delivery + postpartum ?

Thanks

I'm not 100% clear what you are asking. Here is what I am interpreting:
1) You saw the patient for antepartum and thought you would not provide delivery and postpartum
2) You billed for antepartum only (and were paid)
3) Turns out you did deliver and provide postpartum.
If that's the case, you inadvertently billed 59426 incorrectly. To correct the mistake, you should not make another mistake by billing 59410. You should bill global and inform the carrier to void 59426. Whether they can apply the payment already made to the corrected claim, or they want a refund first is whatever that carrier's policy is.
This is all assuming the carrier wants the maternity billed global. There are some that want it split.
