Hi. Im thinking of going into OB/GYN coding when I get done with my coding course. What are some of the harder sections of coding in this speciality that I may need to get a better understanding. ANY tips would be great in the OB/GYN department. Thanks! :D
 
Get a copy of the OB/Gyn coding companion. There are layman's explanations of every procedure. It also includes CCI edits. It's all difficult if you're not familiar with it. Find online learning opportunities and look to volunteer at an OB/Gyn office. Ask right here if there is anyone in your area who could be a mentor.
