I have a member who sent me this question: "I am hoping you might can help me or point me in the right direction. Do you know of a CPC whose specialty is OB-Gyn? If so, can you either give them my email address or provide an email for me. I have a question in reference to billing for a delivery before 20 weeks."
Can anyone help with this? I can only guess since I have not personally worked in OB/GYN. If you need further information let me know. Thanks.
 
Depends on the status of the baby at time of birth. If baby was not live born, then we may only code the tx of miscarriage. If the baby was born live, you may use the delivery code.
