I'm hoping someone could confirm the following coding:
The procedure is a duplex scan of the sinus venosus to measure the venous outflow. There does not seem to be a code under the Obstetrical ultrasounds specific to this procedure (76801-76828). The non-invasive vascular code, 93976 - duplex scan of arterial inflow and venous outflow of abdominal, pelvic, scrotal contents and/or retroperitoneal organs' limited study) best represents the actual procedure performed. Modifer 52, reduced service would be appended to indicate the "outflow" only measurement.
