Where is it written that we "do Not Code Possibles" -- that is for the revenue side--- I am being told to code the possibles for ambulatory procedures and this will alleviate the IP/OP dilemma for the Case Managers ---other places ge authorizations for possible procedures and then the revenue dept will read the OP report and decide which authorizations to use ---What is the negative side of this?? I need documentation for our meeting next week aberlingoaapc@yahoo.com
