How do you get Medicare to pay for the occipital nerve block and the medication?

Occipital Nerve Block w/medication

The diagnosis is occipital neuralgia and the medication is tordal and lidocain.

Our MCR carrier paid on the nerve block 64405 with the occipital neuralgia along with the toradol injection. The lidocaine was not payable as included in the expense for the injection. Be careful for bundling issues with the 64405 if you provide other injection services.
