What HCPC code would you use to code only '10 ml of DEPO' medication on an injection if only J1020, J1030 and J1080 are available? What about if it is only '1 ml DEPO', would you still code it?

Its impossible to tell because I have no idea what strength your office used.

J1020 x1 is 1ml of the 20mg/mL strength

10ml could be

J1020 x 10
or
J1030 x 10
or
J1040 x 10

10ml could be

J1020 x5
and
J1030 x5

or

J1020 x 1
and
J1040 x 9

Multiple combinations can make up 10 ml. You cannot code this properly without knowing how many of what strength. 10ml is just the volume not the dosage

So sorry, it is not '10 ml' but '10 mg' that was used. I did not realize I was typing the wrong abbreviation. I guess the correct answer for this question will be J1020 x1? Is that correct?

Thanks for your feedback:D
