I am looking to see if it is possible to get paid for both an office visit, ex.(99215); and a VNS check (95977) on the same DOS? How would we submit this claim? Right now, we are only getting paid for the VNS check and not the office visit.

Did you submit your E&M code 99215 with modifier 25 to show that it is separate?
(Modifier 25 is defined as a significant, separately identifiable Evaluation and Management (E/M) service by the same physician or other qualified health care professional on the same day of a procedure or other service.)
If denied, you may have to appeal with documentation supporting that both qualify to be billed.
