Wiki Office visit w/ repair code

I recently had someone suggest to me that you can bill office visit along with repair code even though the only reason for the encounter was the wound. Is this true? I've never billed the two codes together.
 
if the reason for the visit is the wound and the provider only examines and repairs the wound then the ov cannot be billed separate from the repair. The exam of the wound is an inherent part of the repair.
