Hi all,
I am sure this has been answered a thousand times. I have a patient who came in for hip pain and was given an IM injection of Kenalog. How do I code this correctly? Not Medicare. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Can you be more specific in your question? Are you asking about quantity/NDC? Is the location a clinic or HOD?

[Insurance Default] Per payor guidelines, a description should be submitted for procedure code J3301 because it is either Unlisted, Not Otherwise Classified, or Not Otherwise Specified. Please enter a concise description for this procedure code using the "edit line note" link or applicable service type add-on and include the product name, make/model of item, and manufacturer's suggested retail price (MSRP) on the Claim Edit screen.
This is what my claims are stating, BUT even when I send in all the information they are requesting they are still denying and not paying.
