One of my Physicians received a request for individual dates of service in office for 10 patients directly from the OIG. The letter stated this is a random audit. Has anyone received such a letter? I have from the CMS MAC but not directly from the OIG up till now.
 
I have read about these but never personally knew one that received one. Best to be prompt in the response and send everything requested.
