Can anyone tell me what the old CPT code 33205 would cross over to now? My doctor's nurse called me and said she was trying to get a precert for 33205 and they told her it no longer exists.

Any idea what the code description was? I don't even find it in my systems CPT tables meaning its probably been used in several years.
 
Try under cardiac pacemakers in the CPT book. 33206-33208. It will depend on what electrodes they will be using.
It was originally 'insertion of permanent pacemaker with' as a description. Not sure when it was discontinued
