Wiki Ommaya Reservoir-Is that correct?

Pt had, in office, an injection of Methotrexate 12mg via Ommaya Reservoir. And prior to the injection, an aspiration of CFS.

What codes would I use?

J9250x3
96542
61070-59

Is that correct? Not sure if I am to use both 96542 and 61070 or just one.
96542 states chemo injection and 61070 states aspiration or injection.

I was told to use 96450 but that states requiring and including spinal puncture. no such procedure was done. Just an aspiration.

Your example would be correct. 96450 is for intrathecal chemo admin. We use your example of 61070-59 when CSF is sent for analysis with 96542 for admin of chemo via the Ommaya reservoir.
