Hoping someone can answer this question regarding regions manipulated. The short version is, provider documented that 5 regions were manipulated: Cranial, soft tissue technique; Cervical, soft tissue technique facilitated positional release; Thoracic Myofascial Release; Thoracic, soft tissue technique; Lumbar, soft tissue technique. Does this classify as 5 regions or 4 regions since Thoracic was listed twice? 98927 or 98926?
 
Any input on this question or reference materials that could help answer this would be greatly appreciated.
 
[FONT=&quot]CPT lists all 10 regions. Its 4 since none of those listed fall under 5-10.

  2. cervical region
  3. thoracic region
  4. lumbar region
  5. sacral region
  6. pelvic region
  7. lower extremities
  8. upper extremities
  9. rib cage region;
  10. abdomen and viscera region.
