Hi there,

Do oncologists use 1995 or 1997 guidelines for E/M coding? I'm guessing the answer is both, but I would like some more color on this if anyone could share.

The provider would have the option of either/or 1995 or 1997 guidelines. When leveling the service you would use the guidelines that allow the higher service for your provider.
