Hello,

Can an eye exam be billed as comprehensive if there is only one eye being checked?

Thank you in advance! :)

Was the other eye not checked for a reason? ie no light perception on refraction, etc-if so I would feel comfortable coding as comprehensive eye exam as long as CPT requirements met: diagnostic/treatment initiated.
