Hello,
I have a case where a nocturnist literally just came off of the night shift and the person working the charge review sent me a request to review two of the over night admissions by this provider due to missing family history reducing the code level. I agreed; however since the physician had just completed the shift within 2 hours of me receiving the request, I sent the physician a message to address the issue as it has been happening repeatedly. Instead of that physician going in and correcting the issue since they were going off duty for a week, they had another physician complete the family history. However this physician was the one who assumed care of the patient that day for the group.
I am feeling uneasy, should I????
Thank you
