Hi all. I am employed by a medical group linked to a hospital as a biller. I am a CPC however my duties are mostly for billing and not obtaining codes. I will bring to attention if I think a dx and/or CPT may have billing issues to alert myself and office (I currently to our orthopedic office).

I would like to do a remote position assessment (for curiosity), but don't want to jeopardize myself with any prospective employers if I don't pass it. I am curious to see how well or not I may do. Does anyone know, if by doing these remote assessments (out of curiosity) and not passing, does it jeopardize one's future with such companies for when one is truly non-curious and job seeking?

I would like to get a part-time remote for possible full-time later, but I know I am currently not strong enough in the field.

not normally the ones I have taken and failed they tell me that I can retake on such in such a date usually 6 months later.
