My doc did a closed nasal reduction and open septoplasty. I have 21315 for closed nasal reduction but can not find anything for open septoplasty. HELP PLEASE! Thanks for all responses!
 
code for open reduction septal fracture

When our doctors perform both of these services we bill the code 21336 for the open reduction septal fracture along with the other code (21315 w/o stabilization or 21320 w/ stabilization).
 
Open septoplasty

My only problem with that is that she doesn't say it was fractured. Just airway obstructing and deviated. Is it still ok to use this code with that not stated in the op note?
