I need help! Here's the op report:
....Skin incision only then down with blunt dissection to the capsule. After this, inspection of the tibial talar region revealed abundant hypertrophic synovium which is debrided. Also evidence of a large spur on the anterior distal tibia which was debrided. In the area of anterolateral talar dome lesion, an approximately 12X8 mm was noted. This was brought down to a stable rim. Microfracture was performed in this region. Good bleeding bone was noted. After this, platelet growth factor was injected around the chondral microfracture. ....
I know what I would use if this was arthroscopically done, but I'm lost on the open codes. I feel like there are too many choices, and since I don't do ankle surgeries that often, I would appreciate any help. Thanks!
