Hello everyone.
Any experienced coders/billers out there who have billed ophthalmology codes? I currently work for an ophthalmology practice, and have some experience with the codes. I understand the IOL Master Scan (92136) gives the measurements needed for cataract surgery. I wanted to inquire as to how they are billed...before or after cataract surgery. I have read and heard a few different accounts on this. I just wanted to see if anyone had any experience in this area. Thank you so very much for your assistance.
