Anyone have any idea if the AAPC is working on an ophthalmology coding specialty?

I have written several times and sent e-mails requesting this. In 2003 I received a profieciency certification from the AAPC in Ophthalmology then we were told that they were not doing that anymore. There really needs to be.
A lot of people think that this type of specialty is easy to code but let me tell you it is very detail oriented and not at all easy. Lets hope we hear something soon.

I do know that through the AAO/AAOE you can get a certification in ophthalmology coding and you only have to take the test once every three years and no CEU's required to keep the certification.
