There is not a specific diagnosis code for this but i use V45.69 while in 10 day post op.

V45.69 may not be used first-listed. I go with a V67.xx for followup.

I use this while in post op, along with 99024. If out of global, you use follow up codes.

Removal of Rust Ring
I use CPT code 65435 Removal of corneal epithelium; with or without chemocauterization (abrasion curettage). Hope this helps
