I heard from another facility, that OB patients with this insurance have to pay a copay for each visit? Has anyone heard of that?
 
Actually, that is a distinct possibility. Your best bet is to call the patients plan and verify the OB benefits and how they are to be billed. I have encountered a few plans over the years that the patient paid a copay at each visit, instead of having a large deductible at the end of the pregnancy.
