My employer is switching to a new encoder in a couple months. The software they are going to is by Optum. I have only ever worked with 3M's encoder. Has anyone ever used Optum's encoder software? Just wondering how huge of a learning curve there is. Right now my employer has Quantim, which is book-based. Any encoder will be easier than Quantim, I think.

I have used both Optum and 3M and my preference is Optum. They have eduational webinars that are free and you can take them over and over. I do them about once a year as I forget all of the options available to us. There are a lot of nice quick features to Optum, you just have to get savy with using it as a whole.

Good Luck!
