Any suggestions to what CPT code(s) should be used when films are taken during a laminectomy? The images are used for surgical management. Would it be xrays of lumbar?

Is anyone (other than the Surgeon) interpreting those films?

The technical charges (films & x-ray equip., etc) are captured in either the APC, DRG or other facility-associated charges; if a Radiologist is interpreting those films then he/she (the Rad) would bill Pro-fees for the interp., but otherwise they'd be bundled in with the surgical CPT codes payment.
