Patient had both of these down on the same side. Dr states the cystic mass was exceedingly large and it was decided to remove the entire testicle with the cystic mass. After skeletonizing the right spermatic curd structures, the spermatic cord was doubly clamped proximally and once distally and then divided with Metzenbaum scissors. Am I able to bill both of these codes? 54620 and 55040.59? Or do you think that I should just bill the orchiectomy?
