If one of our doctors, an ortho surgeon, consulted on a patient while they were in the hospital, then saw the patient around a month later in the office.. I would code an established patient office visit code for the office visit, correct?

Yes, the patient seen in the hospital would be an established patient when he/she is seen in the office.
