The Procedure note (although brief) follows:
Procedure: Debridement of left great toe
injected field block...... The wound was debrided of necrotic tissue and the extensor hallucis longus tendon which was necrotic was resected. The wound was irrigated with saline. A wet to dry dessing placed. Patient will have a ventral wound vac placed on left great toe.
That's it-I feel like I'm missing something-tendon resection??? Any assistance will be greatly appreciated-I'm very lost.
