Can a Orthopedic provider bill for Cpt 76881 (Ultrasound, extremity, nonvascular) or can the provider only bill for the professional componet with 26 modifier?

Denial came back as Not payable for provider specialty.
 
You need to verify with the insurance carrier what radiology or ultrasound procedures he is credentialed for. Some companies limit what certain specialties can do.
