Can we bill E&M visit for casting orthosis?
 
Was this the only reason for the office visit is to have the casting performed? If so, then I would say NO. If the physician does not see the patient and only the casting is performed, then there is no documented evidence that the patient was actually seen by the physician.

Patient came for casting custom-molded orthosis. Can it be billed in separate claim or cost of casting is included in cost of orthosis?
