Hi everyone,
Can you use codes 97760 and 97762 together along as you use a -59 modifier or is 97762 included in 97760? Would appreciates any help I can get with this.

Per coding program Optum Encoder Pro you may bill the two together on the same dos with mod 59 on 97762 if your note supports billing this as a distinctly different service. An example is if 97760 was on a new body part and 97762 was performed on an existing orthotic for another area. I hope this helps.
