Good afternoon:
We have our own O&P deptartment and we have a licensed athletic trainer with our state that sees and fits patients for orthotics, we bill under the physician's name and NPI, who is the director of that department to insurance carriers, my question is do we need to use any modifier to indicate a physical trainer is providing the actual service?
