Current DEXA indicates osteopenia as does the latest progress note. The physician wrote M81.0 for the diagnosis on the Prolia order. He is basing the osteoporosis dx on a DEXA from 2007. Our office is confused and don't think that this is correct. Does anyone have any documentation that can help?
