My pediatric infectious disease doc does wound care from time to time in the hospital. He is now being asked to perform "ostomy care" for neonatal patients". Is there somewhere specific I should be looking to code these? It is pretty time consuming from what he says, it can take anywhere from 30 minutes to an hour. This does include a lengthy dressing change. I want him to get reimbursed accurately and I'm not sure if the typical 97602, 97605, and 97597 codes are correct. PLEASE HELP!:o
