Hi, one of my ortho provider would like to know if he or his PA can bill for a pulse examination using Ultrasound. Can they & pls share any article.

For a routine vital sign check in the office? Of COURSE NOT. Using a handheld doppler to evaluate pulse would be bundled into the standard E&M.

If they are doing a more comprehensive ultrasound check, including duplex/spectral eval of flow, with extensive documentation, preserved images, and an appropriate associated ICD code, then possibly, but it is sketchy at best. What would be the indication here? When would they want to use it?
