We are an Out Patient Rehab for OT, PT and ST. My question is, if a Medicare patient of ours is admitted to the hospital as inpatient then do we need to do another eval on this patient before we treat her at our facility again?
Any help is appreciated.

I bill for an outpatient PT and we have never redone the eval just because a patient spent time in a hospital in between sessions.

Walker,
Is there some documentation somewhere that I can show them?
Thanks
