Hello All, especially inpatient coders... Help... I am a cpc-a trying to study for an inpatient oriented test for a position that I would really, really like to have. My question to all inpatient coders is this... if you only had 5 or 6 partial days to study to pass a test with a 75-80% score... where would you suggest I focus my attention ? I did pass cpc the first time with a 78% score. Any and all help will be enormously appreciated.

My Best to You and Yours,

Denise Graham, CPC-A

what do you think are the odds?

Well, what do you think are my odds in accomplishing my objective? lol

Hello,
I suggest you focus on your inpatient guidelines. Read it every day! Concentrate on getting the principle diagnoses right as well as your CCs (Commobidities/Complications).

Hope this helps.
