Is anyone working in a practice with patients on BiTE therapy? Do you have patients getting treatment at the hospital where they are in an "outpatient in a bed" status for monitoring and observation for 24-48 hours post-treatment on Day 1 and Day 8? If so, do your providers see the patient during this time and, if so, are you billing a visit for the physician encounter?

Thanks!

Sounds like observation status. I know of practices who are doing this, but it wasn't being done when I was in the clinic. If the patient is in observation status, you'd bill as you would for inpatient/observation visit (either hospital E/M codes or O/V with appropriate POS depending on payer requirements) since the codes are the same.
