Can a patient who is seen 2 times a week by a different provider (eg first a CNS/APN, 2nd time a surgeon) be billed for each visit for the provider service? The patient is being seen each time for the same wound.

I believe that this would fall within the global period. So I would say No.

it depends on if you are billing for the facility or physician. there is no global for the facility so you could bill both visit. You may want to check on the regulations for direct supervision because I'm not sure which NPP's are included in that restriction.
