I have recently been getting a lot of denials from BC for an OV when billed with an X-ray. Modifier 25 is used and pt is not post-op.
Is anyone else having this issue?

If your billing just an OV w/X-Ray there is no need to use modifier -25. Just bill the OV example:

I live in MA, we need to separate the x-rays into professional and technical components for BC/BS and for Medicaid. Maybe that is the problem with your BC denials?
