We have recently hired a PA. I have never billed for a PA before. I have been told she may be performing vein ablations. What are the requirements for PA billing and are they limited to only performing certain procedures?

Any information or guidance is appreciated.
 
Check with the State Board and your carriers. You need to know if the ablations are within the scope of their license. You also need to check and make sure the carriers will pay for the services.
