Wiki Pacemaker question, taking CPC exam in 2 days! YIKES

Hi there,

I am a little unclear on this section. I read in the CPC manual that the fluorscopic guidance is NOT included when inserting a pacemaker. BUT is it included on the removal of a pacemaker?

Any help would be great!!! Super thanks!

Hi Julia,
The fluoroscopic guidance is inclusive to the pacemaker / ICD insertion as well as removal.
