Hello All,
I don't get this type of case often....
Procedure:
1. Rt T12 intercostal nerve block
2. Bilateral thoracic trigger point injections

Dx:
1. Thoracic radiculopathy
2. T12 compression fracture
3. Thoracic myofascial pain

64420 RT and break-out 20552? 724.4, 805.2 and 729.1???

thanks

I agree with your codes!!! (64420 RT, 20552 - 724.4, 805.2, 729.1 - 04.81, 99.29)
*Just remember when coding Trigger Point injections you need to select your code based on how many muscles are injected not how many injections are preformed. That was difficult for me to remember when I first started coding pain procedures.

a compression fracture (not due to trauma) is 733.13 for the T12 compression fracture.

can't be sure by what you posted, but thought I'd through this out there. So, IF the patient didn't have a trauma, ... you'd use the 733.13 fracture code.
