Can anyone please help me with a code for an injection into painful scar tissue??? The patient had a CTR about 8 months ago and has come back with pain in the area of the incision. The doctor documented that he injected the "right incision scar". Any suggestions???
 
Just wondering if you ever found out how to bill this? We have the same situation. Patient is ten weeks out from carpal tunnel release and has pain along her incisions. Provider injected her incisional scars using 10 mg of Kenalog and 1/4 ml of 0.5% Marcaine.
