Pancolitis and CDIFF colitis

Hello,

If the MD states in final assessment that the patient has Pancolitis and CDiff colitis would you code both dx? Other coders are saying no only to code CDiff colitis. what are your thoughts? Other coders also states that the physician would have to states ulcerative in order to code pancolitis but the clear definition of pancolitis is that it is a form of ulcerative colitis so why would the Doc have to state ulcerative? what are your thoughts?
