Pt comes in to the PCP office for a physical exam. Pt is unable to have her pap smear done, and is asked to come back to office another day. Normally, the pap would be covered under the preventative exam, and pt would not have a copay. When the pt comes back for the exam, how would you code that visit to notify the insurance that this visit was part of the preventative exam.
