Patient is s/p valve but now has a paravalvular leak around the prosthesis. I was leaning towards 996.02. Any advice??

paravalvular leak

This is quite late, and I'm sure you already have your answer, however, in the event that you don't, I also had the opportunity to code a Paravalvular leak and found that you are correct in using 996.02 as it does state valve leakage and I have found no other code which would fit it. Have a great day!:)
