Note doesn't state whether partial or total, but it does say "right superficial parotidectomy with facial nerve dissection."
Question #1: Would this be 42415 or 42420?
Question #2 Would d/c summary done the day following surgery be global and not billable?

There are 2 lobes to the parotid gland, superficial and deep lobe, if they stated superficial it is the lateral lobe and they did a partial parotidectomy with facial nerve dissection (they preserved the nerves) and therefore you would bill 42415. You cannot bill for D/C, this surgery has a 90 day global.
