i am wondering what v code to use for a status post partial resection of small bowel? any help would be great. thinking the v45.3 or ??? not due to bypass or any such doing with wieght loss.

V45.3 cannot be used as a first-list dx code. You could use a V67.09 code for follow-up as first-listed, then the V45.3 as a secondary will work fine.
